Our first visit, having not long moved to the locality. Absolutely excellent opticians: expertly fitted new prescription lenses to two pairs of existing frames. Nothing too much trouble, great service and personable staff. Significantly better than any of the national chains that we have been using for previous decades.

Have used this opticians since I was a teenager, along with my family. The service is so good I travel quite far to get to them now. Recently my glasses broke and they repaired them really quickly. Friendly and excellent service!

I have just had a really extensive series of tests under the WECS scheme as I was having vision problems. This service was professionally extended in a most thorough and caring manner. All staff in the practise were so welcoming. I will no longer go back to my usual opticians where you are made to feel as if you are on a busy conveyor belt. “I should have gone” years ago to this local optician but I will certainly do so in the future. Highly recommended.

Had a really bad experience in BOS Specsavers, was told I was being referred to to Musgrove for an eye condition, NO information or details of why were given to me.
Saw Alex, pictures of my eyes taken on the day were explained to me. My eye pressures were taken and full details of my pressure readings were explained. The referral pathway to Musgrove was also explained.

Such an easy process, this was my 6 months call back review and check-up. After checking, only one ear needed clearing so only charged for one. They still have the 2 for 1 offer on ear cleaning. Highly recommend. Book now to get your ears inspected and suctioned.

The eye test and the glasses produced as a result are excellent however the computer and system the opticians computer soft wear were shambolic.
I have been using this options for some 35 years and have had very little problems, however on this occasion I had changed my address on their system due to moving. When my independent optician was bought by Armstrong and North I thought the ethos would change but I was pleasantly surprised. All of the staff are friendly, caring and professional. The optometrist is easily the best I have seen in over 50 years and his attention to detail surprised the consultant who operated on my cataracts. She was extremely impressed.

Excellent service throughout. I had solidly compacted earwax which took Nicky three visits to remove. She was patient and unrushed throughout. I really cannot recommend the quality and professionalism of the service enough, all this and incredibly reasonable prices. My wife used a major chain of hearing stores and the service was far inferior we will both be using Nicky’s services at Armstrong and North again without doubt.

Visited 2 weeks ago for ear examination. Fantastic service ,was told one ear was fine but other was totally blocked. The lady takes a photo and a video of each eardrum so you can see the exact problem.She tried to dislodge it with suction but firmly attached so asked to put drops in ear for 2 weeks and return
Went today and she was able to dislodge no problem at all. This cost £25 which for the amount of time I think is quite good.She showed me the picture and video of my now clear ear which is very reassuring. I highly recommend this branch very friendly staff too.

Just had an appointment with Nicky, the Hearing Specialist, as I was having problems with wax in my ears. She was excellent

I called Francis Opticians in Chirk after suffering from sudden vision change in one eye, no where could see me for weeks but the receptionist here went above and beyond to re-assure me they could and would help me, seeing me the following day. The service i recieved was none other than excellent, I had constant reasurance from the Optician herself whilst going through all tests. Would highly reccomend this Opticians – for emergency care or general eye care.

The appointment was made, then a few days before, someone rang and cancelled, said I would be contacted with another date. Next thing, the shop was empty and I have not been contacted from these new Premises that I have just found where you are. Are you not keeping past patients?

I have had problems after a recent Cataract operation and have been given lots of information and advice, which also includes further treatment, which l am now going for an assessment in the next few days, which may lead to further laser treatment and hopefully clear up the problem. Edit: The owner replied and said “We did offer to source an alternative selection of frames for you which was declined” but this isn’t true. I had asked if there was a catalogue that could be sent to me, so that I could choose from frames that weren’t in-store, and you said you don’t offer your catalogue online for proprietary reasons. I was fine with that and said maybe.

Amazing service! From the moment I called and spoke to Gabrielle she was so helpful and accommodating as we discussed options for my daughters glasses who is 7 months old. We attended a fitting with the Optometrist who was so great with my daughter and was very informative explaining how the glasses would benefit her and help correct her squint. We had to order specialist glasses as she is so small & they were very helpful and took our NHS voucher. I had previously tried Specsavers who just tried to push their own glasses on us even though they were too big and not suitable. I would 100% recommend this optician Armstrong & North.

The young lady at reception was excellent too. Guided me through all the available lenses and frames and gave me all the options I needed to ensure the glasses I ordered were the right ones for me.

Very poor customer experience. Felt miss sold too, and pressured. When we returned to discuss we were lied to, and they attempted to make us feel stupid. Their costs are ridiculous. Wanted to charge £60 for a child’s contact lenses consultation. Boots however offer the exact same service for FREE. Wanted £160 for thinner lenses on a child’s spectacle prescription. We have received a refund on this occasion, and bought our sons glasses elsewhere, where we have paid £20 for thinner lenses. Would not recommend.

I checked out the Covid-security arrangements before booking an eye test and was very impressed with the precautions being taken.
Linda, the Optician, was very friendly and welcoming. The test was really thorough despite a couple of hiccups as the lenses steamed up because of my mask. (In hindsight I should have used a mask with an adjustable nose clip for a tighter fit).

After being let down by the local branch of another national chain of opticians I thought I’d try Armstrong and North. Very pleased I did. Simple appointment booking service and wonderful staff. Particular thanks to Kevin who was very thorough during my eye test and a very polite and friendly chap. Glad I moved away from the cattle shop feel of the more well known chains.

Had a very positive experience here today. Took my very elderly mum in for an eye test. Absolutely no problem accommodating a wheelchair and the optician was very patient with my mum being hard of hearing. All the staff we encountered were very friendly and helpful. And another really welcome aspect of our visit – there was no hard sell of frames or lenses after the test. It was very relaxed without any of the pressure the chain opticians can put on customers. Can highly recommend – there is free parking around the corner by the station too.

On entering shop the receptionist was far from welcoming with miserable glare . We are both exempt from wearing mask but she angrily asked us to wear one and in saying we exempt her attitude was ‘oh are you’re in angry voice. She then hardly looked at us grunting take a seat.
While waiting an elderly lady was already there looking at glasses with another member of staff who again was rude in manner she spoke. The lady decided to go elsewhere and staff continued negatively discussing her when she left loudly in front of us.
Eventually went to the optician who seemed okay but not really listening to my concerns.
Will never go there again

After years of attending another optician I recently ended up at Armstrong and North (previously the Co-op opticians) in Felixstowe. I had noticed is was quieter that say Specsavers, but needed a quick appointment so opted for them. Well what a surprise, I am literally over the moon I am so pleased with the extraordinary care attention and value. Kevin the optician took up my case with a level of interest far in excess of what I have ever experienced before. I am sending my wife there next. If you want to look after your eyes as much as you should and need a good optician in Felixstowe, well this would be my recommendation.

So I went there to get a repair done as I didn’t have anywhere else to get my glasses repaired and they repaired the outer body and gave me a new one. I paid around 40 maybe and the outer body of my glasses has broken again in my face they’re very polite in there, no complaints The glass body felt like it was plastic. It’s all wibbly.

Whilst very happy with all your staff when I had my recent eye test at your Ipswich store, which has a calm and re-assuring atmosphere, I have to query your lens pricing. I was quoted “£200” for new lens’ excluding frames.
My wife was shocked at this as she recently had new glasses. So I took my prescription to her optician and bought complete glasses for less than £150.
I can appreciate your buying power can’t match some of your big high street competitors, but the +40/50% differential in lens prices made me buy elsewhere.

My 9 year old had an appointment on 1/9/23 and I cant recommend Kevin enough. He explains everything so well, always has time he is NEVER in a rush to get the appointment done quickly. . He was great with my daughter who was a bit nervous about coming for a contact lens appointment. All staff here are very friendly and helpful. Cant recommend Kevin enough and Lara who dispenses the glasses. Both amazing. All other staff are friendly.

I needed a urgent repair as the frame had snapped. From an immediate warm greeting at Reception to the extremely professional service from Neil the overall service was outstanding. Existing lenses were inserted into a new frame and all within 15 minutes.

I popped into Armstrong & North on the off chance as my only pair of glasses had broken. They arranged an appointment for me the very next day. I had my eye test and it was confirmed that my existing glasses were not repairable so I selected a new pair. The day after I had my appointment, I had a phone call to say my new glasses were in and I could collect them straight away! I’m absolutely thrilled with the service I’ve received, they’ve gone above and beyond what I expected especially as I wasn’t an existing customer. I won’t be going anywhere else now. Thank you.

Pritpal has been looking after my eyes for over 15 years now. When I first saw him I was in despair because other opticians had failed to correctly diagnose what was wrong with my sight. I have a complex prescription with short sight, astigmatism and a squint and Pritpal has this remarkable ability to be able to understand not just how my eyes work but how exactly I see things and with what distortion before sorting out the right glasses and lenses for my needs. I cannot rate him highly enough for his patience and expertise – without ever any pressure to buy anything. Allthough I live across the Bristol Channel from Armstrong and North in Newport I will always be more than happy to travel to see him.
I recommend Pritpal to anyone – but especially if you have more complicated problems with your eyesight.

I used to like this opticians the original receptionist is so considerate and friendly but the blondlady who works there I find condescending and rude she once shouted at the poor receptionist while I was there and made me feel awkward when I couldnt afford a second pair of glasses we are homeless by the way and then today 2 minutes late because my son’s shoes broke on the way it was his appointment then had to wait another couple of minutes to speak to her as she was busy she then said because I was late in a condescending tone and there’s emergency I’ll have to rebook no problem rebook but I’m pretty sure even if I wasn’t late because my child’s shoe broke you still wouldn’t have been able to see him as it was full of emergencies apparently I don’t find her friendly or approachable and thinking of changing now the original receptionist is lovely and she handled being spoke to like that very gracefully.

Everything was explained and demonstrated in some cases. I am very confident in recommending this practice to anyone. Any exemplary service.

I’m so happy with the service today. Very friendly reception staff, and a fantastic optician who was very thorough. I’ve had some visual issues after collapsing and being seen in hospital a few weeks ago. A&N saw me under the NHS scheme. I had a morning appointment, unfortunately one piece of equipment wasn’t working and they were waiting for it to come back from repair. They did all the tests they could then later that day they rang me to say the equipment was there and I was able to go strange ght round there to be seen. Again this second appointment was very thorough and I was referred to the hospital eye clinic for a scan. I will certainly use them again, mostly due to the fantastic and friendly staff.

I went today for my eye check up. Very friendly and knowlegable staff who put your mind at rest and explained about the eye examination. Thorough eye check up and a great choice of frames. Trained staff to fit your frames too. My husband and son also use this practice. I highly recommend them.

When it comes to your eyes experience cannot be replaced with machines, always feel like I’m getting the best possible service. I had my eyes tested and 2 pairs of glasses for less than a 1/4 what I paid at a well known chain. Highly recommended.

Absolutely Fabulous place. Made myself and my daughter welcome and at ease. my daughter has MS and they took their time with her and was great. the ladies at the reception desk, helped with making sure her glasses were comfortable and they fit well.

Make you feel welcome from the time you enter to the time you leave. Nothing is to much trouble, the staff are very friendly, helpful. I’ve had a few optician’s and have never been fully happy with my glasses. Pleased to say Im certainly happy now. Thank you to you all, customer service at its best 😁

My experience from the team at South Molton has been 5 stars since becoming a customer a few years ago. However, the customer service from their head office has not even been bad, it has been non-existent. If I could have given them zero stars I would have done so gladly.
In October 2024 I ordered and paid £415.00 for a prescription pair of Oakley golf sunglasses. In November, December, and January I made enquiries about when my glasses would be ready by email, calling in, and phoning South Molton. I got the same answer that the matter was being dealt with by head office with no details given to South Molton by their head office when my order would be delivered. I was informed that Oakley would not deliver any more products to Byrnes & Byrnes until Oakley were paid. I did contact Oakley direct but they informed me that as I had ordered the glasses through opticians I had to pursue the matter through them.
Last month my patience ran out and I cancelled the order and asked for a complete refund which I received with an apology from the South Molton team.
The silence from their head office continues to this day. They just took my £415, it was held for 3 months, and then returned on cancellation. No contact, explanation, or apology from head office and certainly no expensive prescription sunglasses.

My wife and I went to Thornbury Armstrong & North Opticians to have our eyes tested. We were examined by Craig. It was lovely to feel that we had a very thorough examination by somebody who cared about our eyes as much as we do !! He was also extremely helpful and informative !! Thank you very much Craig.

My husband, James, was referred by the branch in Crediton and was seen very promptly for a follow-up to cataract operations. The place was spotless, staff very friendly and professional (running spot-on for time) and used state-of-the art equipment. The examination was easy and quick with a clear recommendation for a new prescription. Guidance in choosing a new frame was unbiased and helpful with no strong steer towards the more expensive end of the range. New glasses were available within 2 weeks and, now he has worn them for a few days, it is clear they are ideal. There is no doubt that he will continue to attend this branch of independent opticians.

After struggling to find Harry Potter glasses to fit our son anywhere in Colchester, we had almost given up! Then we stumbled across Armstrong & North (inside Co-op Pear Tree), where Rosa went above and beyond—calling the manufacturer to locate the perfect pair when no one else could. Her kindness and helpfulness made his day and ours. Exceptional service! Thank you—we’ll definitely visit again. 🙂

I have been using armstrong and north opticians at stanway now for approximately 3 1/2 years after a number of issue at a larger name in town.
The team always do a great job for me and my family, and have gone above and beyond to find the right contact lenses for me when I was after a more cost effective solution.
Always happy to help and offer advice where they can.
Highly recommend for a more personal expedience than a larger chain.

A slightly delayed review but our appointment a week or so ago for my nearly 6 year old was excellent. I didn’t even realize this optician had opened, I only found it through Google, but I was able to book an appointment very quickly. The check up itself was very thorough, and the optician was great with my daughter, who does not always like interaction with men she does not know. She was very disappointed she didn’t need glasses (I was not!) and the Receptionist was very kind to give her a pair from an old box of display ones to play with. Thank you, we’ll be back!

Absolutely satisfied with everything. A friendly welcome, pleasant ambience. The optomotrist was very pleasant and helpful, listened to my requirements, was extremely patient and thorough. Professional throughout.
The lady who helped me chose some frames was equally helpful and took her time to ensure I was happy with my choice as well as processing the administration involved with ordering the prescription.

The optician was superb, very friendly, talked me through each step and what she was going to do. This is why I prefer proper opticians and not big chains with big machines. Told me my eyes were dry and the options I had, also recommended different drops to use to suit my eyes. The whole experience was informative and pleasant.

Having taken my disabled 97 year old Dad for an eye test (undertaken well with patience and understanding), I made an appointment by telephone to return to get his new glasses fitted. I recieved a text reminder the preceding day. However, when we arrived for our 1.40pm appointment, the opticians was closed, with a scribbled hand written sign saying they had all gone to lunch and would be back at 2pm!!!!!! I removed the rope cordon so I could take my Dad, who has severe mobility issues, inside so he could sit down (there was nowhere else to sit). I then called through to the back rooms and informed the assistant who appeared of our presence. She informed us there was no-one available to help us and we would have to wait. When the member of staff who did the fitting appeared at approximately 1.55, she ignored us entirely and only came to speak to us just after 2pm. When I explained they had missed our appointment time, she merely said it wasn’t her who had made the appointment!! There was no apology. I was however asked in an accusatory tone if I had removed the rope cordon. I wonder what else I was supposed to do whilst we waited? 😡

I had recently been to Specsavers at Tollgate and was not happy with the experience. Fortunately got my money back. The place was very busy and they were short staffed. This did not effect the service at all. The eye test was very good and better than Specsavers. The time given to making my choice of frames was unhurried and patient, ditto the eye test. I have been going there for years and should not have been swayed to go elsewhere. Yes they are more expensive but the quality of service is much better. My glasses are now in the ordering process. You get what you pay for after all. If something seems too good to be true it probably is.

When I lived close by I came to Armstrong and North for an eye test.they were extremely professional and very helpful .especially Rose..
They diagnosed that I needed catarract surgery on both eyes and organised it all for me on NHS.
I have since after a stroke moved to live close to family in Chelmsford but still return to A and N to continue my yearly eye testing.

I recently attended the practice as an on the day booking for an eye test due to having issues with my vision. (Previously never had any issues and no eye test since a teen) There is never any queue to be seen (I also bring my children here regularly) The optometrist was so thorough and really took his time going through each test. He knew exactly the issue I was having and it appeared I needed driving glasses. Rosa then spent ages with me going through the range helping me decide what pair to have as my first ever pair of glasses at 28 yo! The staff were so lovely and I will definitely return every year now. It felt so much more personal than when I have attended various ‘high street opticians’. Thank you Stanway Armstrong & North!

I pay for lenses by direct debit. Under the Co-op, these were posted to me and I had the facility to order replacement lenses if I lost one. When this changed to A&N, I asked for a replacement lens and was told this was ‘not in the terms and conditions’. I asked for these terms and was offered those for the supplier. When I pointed out that I do not pay the supplier, I have been ignored until I threatened to complain to the General Optical Council. Then, I received an email saying my request had been passed to their ‘customer services team’ (over a month after my original request) who would respond. The person also refuses to give their name. Very poor service.
Update: 8 weeks after the original request, I have been sent a document which 1) is not specific to the service I use, 2) contains no prices or recommended number of eye tests and 3) says I need to refer to another document (not provided) to understand whether or not a particular service is included. No progress at all.

Excellent Service yesterday at the optometrists!! JONATHON is a very thorough and highly recommended optometrist. ROSA is an excellent optical assistant from advising me on the best glasses based on personal preference as well as what suits my face shape etc as well as the bridge of the nose after visiting a mainstream optometrist and being left with a very red line on the nose bridge at the end of every day. Very excellent pick up service. ROSA fitted my glasses and had to make a couple of adjustments assuring me that if ever I needed to re visit, they will always be able to fit you in. My only piece of advice is to have more professional receptionist lady. On arrival yesterday, when both fitting tables were occupied , she asked me if I would be happy to have them fitted sitting up the corner on a chair (very unprofessional) Maybe introduce a third table just to avoid these embarrassing moments for the busier periods of the day. Above all this, I will highly recommended the practice and in particular – A big thank you for your professional knowledge to JONATHON & ROSA 😃

Took my new glasses in after our puppy had chewed them. Their magician of a technician had them repaired in a day and FOC. Took my wife’s glasses in two days later, embarrassingly chewed to pieces by the same puppy and they replaced the frames plus a new case for a very small charge. I highly recommend this branch and their very helpful and skilled staff. Great job.

I can’t recommend this optician’s enough. After a negative experience my little girl was very nervous to have her eyes tested but from the second we walked through the door the receptionist was so welcoming and went above and beyond to help my daughter feel comfortable. The optician was so lovely and made the eye test a positive experience. She used games, a range of tools and methods to suit my 6 year old which really helped. As a family we won’t be going anywhere else now.

The most thorough and detailed eye examination and test I have ever had. They have a state of the art scanner to identify many incipient eye problems. I thought it well worth having done. All staff were friendly, polite and helpful. The optometrist (Anisha) was really lovely kind and extremely professional. She explained everything thoroughly and in a way that I fully understood. I checked and they generally have the same optometrists and support staff and there (rather than a stream of locums) so good continuity of care which I value greatly. It is also very nice that they have kept the name and ethos of Robert Murrell who many local people will remember fondly.

Daughter called today for a routine test. Greeted by very nice people, who clearly and pleasantly explained why she should opt for a more advanced test, which given the explanation, was chosen. Test performed professionally and results given to my daughter – which were a great help in eliminating the cause of her ailments. Highly recommended!

Went here dec 2023 to get new glasses, cost me 493£ and paid in cash. After 4months got my refund.1st glasses arrived, couldn’t stand it at all,giving me slight headache,can’t read closer or any angle properly,I was told my eyes gonna get higher and higher grade,and if I look far away,it’s becoming blurry after just few seconds. Went back woman doctor insisted its correct prescription and they themselves don’t understand why I’m feeling that way. So I have to get home and trying it again,luckily found the replica of my previous glasses done from asda, which I haven’t worn as I didn’t like the frame on me and surprisingly when I tried it on,it was crystal clear and have no problem. Realised my prescription didn’t change and my old glasses was just full of scratches,when I tried to explain all these, Lian seemed to be tired already from me being dissatisfied and shows more frustrated than I am but trying her best to serve me well and i was grateful.owner calls me as I understand they didn’t want to refund my money back,so we agreed to make the same prescription like my previous instead,but still their practice failed to do it. 2nd glasses arrived,its blurry looking far away. Very disappointed here and tired of all the waiting so went asda and have it double check if what they made is exact like my previous,shows that its not as they printed the readings for me. Overall, Lian couldn’t handle my dissatisfaction.called her over the phone asking if she can show me at least if the glasses has same prescription like mine from the machine, but she decline to help anymore, saying its useless to talk to her anymore,but the same time she kept putting in my face how much help she was doing like it wasn’t her job anyway, and when I questioned her about it, she hang up on me!while my money still with them,find it very unprofessional. I asked for refund, was granted, but they caused me delays lots of waiting that I have to chase them for a question as to WHEN I can get it.emailed them several times didn’t get proper answer so decided to went to the store directly to deal with it. The lady with white hair, who calls herself a manager, just asked me to leave several times which is unacceptable as I’ve tried to approached lian from what happened in the past. As a manager,you dont interfere rudely and asked client who you haven’t given a refund yet to leave several times. You should ask how you can help, and talk gently. Shows that the manager can’t handle more customer complaints as she even threatened to call a police if I don’t leave,seriously?because I was asking for answers?I told her to go on and call the police and she called the owner instead.,she probably realised police won’t deal with this matter, owner talk gently and kinder,and ses to refund the money today by lunch. So my question HOW CAN YOU NOT REFUND THE MONEY MUCH EARLIER AND HOW COME I HAVE TO MAKE SERIES OF EMAILS AND DO NOT GET A RESPONSE AS TO WHEN, THE FACT THAT YOU CAN SEND IT RIGHT AWAY ANYWAY.Conclusion: i came here as I thought it’ll be expensive so probably its better than asda,shows that its not about it. Plus behaviour of staff were good if you’re satisfied with their service,and you can’t express dissatisfaction especially with the thin, lady with white hair as how she dealt with me was unacceptable. Problem is they failed to deliver results. And as a manager, she coukd have dealt with this better, especially answering to emails. Not impressed and lost my trust.

Very helpful and pleasant receptionist and couldn’t fault Anisha so helpful and professional. My only concern was the gentleman who helped me choose my frames. I chose a pair costing £139 and after a few minutes with his calculator he said that will be £273 pounds, when I asked him how that was made up he just said lenses are £62 pounds,I replied 139 + 62 still doesn’t add up to £273, then he said that was for each lens, I said okay and paid. When I got home and checked my receipt I found 2 amounts for £5 added.. it would be good to get an explanation to know what we are being charged for.

The optician was very clear and efficient, explaining changes to my prescription, and the benefits and disbenefits of the ‘occupational’ lenses that I had requested. I was then measured for the new glasses by Dion, who was knowledgeable about the environmental implications of my frame choice. Booking and reception also efficient, effective and polite.

I am very pleased with the service I received yesterday at Armstrong & North Opticians. The reason for my visit was to discuss new glasses, but I was advised to have an eye test before choosing new glasses. This meant I would have had to rearrange another appointment. However, because there had been a cancellation later on, I agreed to take this.
The eye test was very thorough & the optician explained everything to me, & answered all my question in a way that I was able to understand. I had a very similar experience with the technician who helped me choose new lenses. Thank you.

My glasses fell off my head and one of the arms had fallen off. I had tried to reconnect the arm but couldn’t see what I was doing (always tricky doing something fiddly when you can’t see what you’re doing), so I took them in to get them repaired. I’ve been with this optician’s for years (under different ownership’s) and always experienced great service. Both for contact lenses and specs. Staff have always been professional yet friendly and obliging.

I always find having my eyes tested reassuring and satisfying knowing my eyes are as good as they can be and I’m in good hands especially being diabetic so it’s always good to know if there’s anything going on with any part of my eyes that’s good or bad plus all the staff are polite helpful and professional so overall it’s always going to be a five star experience ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Last year, I went to this optician and asked them if they would be able to fix a pair of my glasses, as a scew had come out,on one of the pads that held my glasses on my nose. The Gentleman who helped me said of course! I was impressed how professional he was and quickly repaired my glasses, free of charge! I had asked a couple of bigger opticians on the high street if they could help. But they were not interested!
I went last week and had my eyes tested, from the moment I walked in I was greeted by a receptionist who immediately put me at ease. I asked about new frames, and she kindly helped me and gave me her valued opinion. I then went in and had my eyes tested, Every step of the test was expained and advise was given to me.
I was then measured for my glasses and again was made to feel at ease.
I must admit it was so different in comparison to the bigger opticians.
I would highly recommend this opticians. They provide an old fashioned personal service. You are not just a number!

Booking my appointment was straight forward. I was greeted by friendly staff when I visited the premises. I was made to feel at ease during my eyesight test, explanations were given throughout the process and any questions I had were addressed.

My experience was really good. A very friendly office. The optician was excellent, he was extremely thorough, knowledgeable and client friendly. He had the perfect approach and made me feel calm, relaxed and safe. He had also previously referred me to Bristol Eye hospital and his concerns had turned out to be.correct. I cannot recommend them highly enough.

Many thanks to all the staff at the weston branch..on his annual eye check Nick noticed something not right in callums right eye…and rang the eye hospital in Bristol to expect him the following day..where they identified the beginning of a detached retina..and yesterday completed the op successfully

I went in for a routine eye test last week. I found everyone both Friendly & professional. All were Eager to help. I felt like i was treated as a valued customer unlike the huge high street chains where i was just a number on the list. Armstrong and North gave the best of old fashioned customer service with the best of modern technology and expert advice.

Very good professional service from the moment you get inside the door till when you leave. Added bonus if you’re lucky you can park literally outside the door.If not just across the road.New staff and they are all excellent 👍

After some difficulty contacting Reception I eventually I got a prompt appointment with the optomoterist, Barbara, who gave me a very comprehensive and thorough check. 5 stars for Barbara, rather fewer for reception, I’m afraid.
