Armstrong & North Opticians break new ground
We have merged our Newport and Magor practices, and relocated to a brand new, bespoke premises in Friars Walk in Newport, which will be open 7 days a week.
The new practice will be fitted with the latest hospital grade technology, which allows our patients to benefit from the highest standard of eyecare, expertly provided our optometrists in the practice.
All patient records will be transferred securely and confidentially across to the new premises, and the team has been expanded in order to provide the same high quality service, with a wider range of products and services from the new location.
Optometrists Pritpal Sagoo and Elliot Bateman will be providing a comprehensive set of eyecare services from the new practice. Elliot was previously part of Bateman Opticians on Stow Hill, a practice which had been at the heart of the Newport community for 30 years. Also coming onboard from Bateman Opticians is Megan Thomas our Practice Manager. Megan heads up our experienced team including Dispensing Optician Farrah Chilton, Optical Assistant Yasin Salehi, and Optical Assistant Alex Langley who many of you will know from Brian Langley Opticians. The team have a combined 50 years of optical and dispensing experience between them.

The new practice will also stock a wide range of designer frames including the latest styles from Ray-Ban, Oakley, Prada and Calvin Klein, and the latest technology in spectacle lenses and contact lenses.
